In Saudi Arabia, waste marble powder is commonly used as the filler in the production of concrete and mortar due to the local availability and comparatively lower price. In several past studies, the utilisation of limestone as the filler in concrete to improve the mechanical properties has been investigated.
The replacement of cement has been done at 0%,3%,5%,9%,12%,13% with Metakaolin (MK) and 0%,10% (constant) with Marble Powder (MP). Compressive as well as tensile strength of concrete made with MK-MP has been compared with conventional concrete. The optimum percentage for replacement of cement with Metakaolin and Marble powder was 9% and 10%.
Concrete containing marble waste and scoria as a sand replacement shows better compressive strength than the conventional concrete but the workability and compressive strength decrease with an increase in the content of marble waste and scoria. Cost analyses indicate that concrete containing marble waste and scoria can save up to 4.5% of the ...
For sand replacement, and by replacing 10% of sand with marble powder in (NF10), the compressive strength value rises up to 5% above the control CM. Replacing 5% of cement and 10% of sand with marble waste powder in NC5 + NF10 mix gives almost the same compressive strength value obtained from CM.
Utilization of marble powder and different is Crusher sand as incomplete substitution of concrete and stable creation. Right now ruin down the excellent of cement made with utilizing these waste substances one is marble powder and different is Crusher sand. The marble powder is utilized as 16% supplant by means of weight of concrete and Crusher sand as the incomplete substitution of Fine ...

This project deals with the advanced construction technique by concrete technology replaced by different waste materials. Concrete is an essential building material that is widely used in the construction of infrastructure such as ... whereas replacement of sand by marble waste powder up to 20% enhances the slump of the concrete mixes. In
river sand. Quarry dust and Marble powder contains similar properties as that of river sand and hence accepted as a building material. The present paper focuses on investigating maximum percentage replacement of river sand by Quarry dust and Marble powder in varying equal percentages 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60% for M25 mix designations.
This experimental study presents the feasibility of the production of more durable concrete with marble dust as partial replacement of cement by 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by weight. Standard concrete cube specimens of size 150mm×150mm×150mm were casted with OPC and 0 % marble dust for two grade of concrete M25 & M30.
To make this stone use in the construction area, the stone is sculpted, cut in shape and the stones are made to glossy (1) (13). The chemical and physical properties of marble dust powder used...
Using waste clay brick powder (RBP) to partially replace cement in the preparation of concrete, is one way to recycle construction waste. In order to investigate the physical and mechanical properties and volume stability of recycled micropowder ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), the basic mechanical and shrinkage properties of recycled micropowder UHPC were studied at replacement rates ...
The main purpose is to replace sand with marble powder in concrete because such a mixture will be environmentally friendly and economically feasible. The concrete samples are produced by replacing sand with marble powder at 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 90% by volume. The compressive strength values are determined after 7, 28 and 90 days with ...
Marble is a metamorphic rock resulting from the transformation of a pure limestone. Waste marble dust is one such material which can be used to replace sand as fine aggregate. 1.1 Objectives The present study is aimed at utilizing Waste marble powder as fine aggregate in concrete, replacing natural sand. Marble is one of the most
Experimental Study on Concrete Using Waste Marble Powder and Quarry Dust as Partial Replacement of Cement and Fine Aggregate D. Suji, K. Kumar Engineering 2016 : Concrete is the most important component used in the construction industry throughout the world, where the fine aggregate is generally natural sand.
replacement for sand together with marble powder as additive by 5, 10 and 15% of cement weight. Phase II, the above experiment is repeated with the same components but with different content of ...
Marble product are mixed in concrete mix M-20 in different percentage (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%) by weight. The cement was replaced by marble powder. After curing (7 and 28 days), cubes were tested. The replacement of cement with 10% of marble powder gives the maximum compressive strength at both 7 days and 28 days curing period.
The offshore sand obtained for this project work was subjected to rain and atmospheric conditions for a year. Fig.2 Dredged sand . ... Preparation of concrete with partial replacement of marble powder for cement (5%, 10%, 15%,) and find out the optimum percentage
Particles of this sand have smooth texture and are blackish. Sieve analysis was done to find out fineness modulus which comes out to be 3.14% which is under limit as per IS 383-1970. The test conducted on Sand is shown in Table No. 3. Table 3: Sand Marble powder: Marble powder was collected from
